- •Age >=18 years
- •- able to understand study purpose and risks in German language
- •- for patients only: diagnosis of essential tremor made by a movement disorder specialist according to established criteria
排除标准
- •- presence of other neurological or psychiatric conditions
- •- drug or alcohol misuse (exceprion: cigarette smoking)
- •- contraindications against MRI assessment (e.g. cardial pacemaker, joint replacements, tattoos etc.)
- •- marked claustrophobia
- •- contraindications against alcohol consumption
- •- relevant medical conditions such as severe heart disease or metabolic disorders
- •- pregnancy
- •- breast feeding period
- •- orthopedic disorders that would prevent participant from lying flat in the MRI scanner
