aged > 18 years
acute calculous cholecystitis
high surgical risk with Charlson comorbidity index (CCI)> 5 or American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status (ASA-PS) > 2

Exclusion Criteria

Severe coagulopathy
Unstable medical condition
Gallbladder perforation
