- •Previously single rooted filled teeth showing radiographic evidence of apical periodontitis or
- •Failure of root canal treatment will be determined based on:
- •1.CLINICAL EXAMINATIONS
- •Persistent symptoms
- •Pain on palpation
- •Discomfort to percussion
- •Persistent sinus tract
- •2. RADIOGRAPHIC EXAMINATION
- •PAI Score 1-4
- •Voids in & around the root canal filling

- •Antibiotic treatment in last 3 months
- •Subjects with systemic disease starting with American society of Anaesthesiologist
- •Subjects having teeth that cannot be isolated with a rubber dam, teeth with absence of
- •coronary sealing, or teeth with periodontal pocket deeper than 3mm.
