Brief Summary

THE STUDY AIMS TO COMPARE THE BLOCK PERFORMANCE TIME, BLOCK ONSE TIME AND BLOCK CHARACTERISTICS OF SUPRACLAVICULAR AND COSTOCLAVICULAR APPROACHES TO BRACHIAL PLEXUS BLOCK UNDER USG-GUIDANCE.

IT WILL BE PERFORMED ON ASA PS 1 AND 2 PATIENTS WITH UPPER LIMB INJURIES UNDERGOING ELECTIVE AND EMERGENCY ORTHOPAEDIC PROCEDURES.

Inclusion Criteria

ASA PS 1 AND 2 PATIENTS WITH UPPER ARM INJURIES UNDERGOING ELECTIVE AND EMERGENCY ORTHOPAEDIC PROCEDURES.

Exclusion Criteria
  • PATIENTS WITH NEUROMUSCULAR OR NEUROLOGICAL DEFICITS 2.
  • PATIENTS WITH COAGULOPATHY 3.
  • PREGNANCY 4.
  • PATIENTS WITH ALLERGY TO LOCAL ANAESTHETICS 6.
  • INFECTION AT SITE OF INJECTION 7.
  • POLYTRAUMA.
