Inclusion Criteria

Patients of either gender

Patients with age 18 to 70 years

Serum uric acid level >7 mg / dl for men and > 6 mg / dl for women

Chronic cases of gout ( more than 1 year )

Exclusion Criteria

Immunocompromised patients or patients on immunosuppressive drugs

Patients suffering from life threatening diseases

Pregnant women and lactating mother

Patients with k/c/o hypersensitivity of any drug

Patients suffering from chronic kidney diseases or end stage renal diseases and requiring dialysis

Patients taking diuretics, aspirin, ethambutol, pyrazinamide, cyclosporine, cytotoxic drug
