入选标准
- •Patients above 18 years of age with tobacco habits will be included in the study and will be divided into 2 groups:
- •Group I: Control group of 74 healthy individuals with tobacco habit
- •Group II: Case group of 74 OPMD patients with tobacco habits
排除标准
- •Patients with alcohol habit
- •Pregnant and lactating women.
- •Subjects with previous treatment for OPMDs.
- •Subjects with any collagen diseases or immune mediated disorders.
- •Subjects with history of head and neck tumors, breast cancer and gastric cancer.
- •Subjects with prior neoplastic surgeries and cancer metastases.
- •Other diseases such as HIV, Hepatitis, infectious diseases, coronary artery disease, cardiovascular disorders where alteration in salivary biomarkers level can be present.
