简要总结

Low level LASER therapy enhances and accelerates the process of wound healing. hence, in this study, obese patients are recruited to administer LASER as the wound healing process is delayed in these population in comparison to individuals with normal built. Both the genders of age 25-60 are recruited with sample size of 30. The interventional group is given low level laser therapy while the control group is given the routine care. Baseline data of VAS for pain and the photographs of the scar is used. The treatment is given during every alternate days from day 1 till day 10 of their hospital stay.

  • Elective abdominal surgery consented patients.

排除标准

  • 1.Postoperative hemodynamic instability 2.Pregnancy
  • History of epilepsy/seizures.

主要结局

VAS for pain, POSAS, photographs of the scar

时间窗: Post operative day 1 and post operative day 10

次要结局

  • VAS for pain(1 week after the laser session)
