Inclusion Criteria

  • 18\-70 years old
  • male or female
  • ASA I, II \& III
  • scheduled for elective supratentorial craniotomy

Exclusion Criteria

  • Refusal to participate
  • Allergy to bupivacaine or fentanyl
  • chronic hypertension
  • Coronary artery disease
  • Cerebrovascular disease
  • Increased intracranial tension
  • Trigeminal neuralgia
  • Previous craniotomy
