Inclusion Criteria
Patients with post traumatic intertrochanteric fractures in adults >18 years in either sex group. Intertrochanteric fractures with subtrochanteric extension. Fractures included in 31A1 and 31A2 AO classification
Exclusion Criteria
Pathological intertrochanteric fractures. Compound intertrochanteric fractures. Previously operated intertrochanteric fractures. Mental retardation and incompliant patients. Fractures included in 31A3 AO classification
