1. Non- gravid - non menopausal females with age 19-45years
2. Patients with menorrhagia as indicated by :
(i) Excessive Menstrual loss > 80ml/cycle as calculated by menstrual pictogram (attached as annexure)
(ii) Menstrual cycle greater than 6 days
1. Heavy Menstrual Bleeding with structural or histological abnormality, with symptoms such as intermenstrual or post-coital bleeding, pelvic pain and/or pressure symptoms
2. Patients presenting with Heavy Menstrual Bleeding since menarche
3. Patients with a personal or family history suggesting acoagulation disorder
4. Patients using Intrauterine Contraceptive Devices
5. Patients with illness requiring long term treatment e.g. Hypertension, TB etc
6. Patients with Post-menopausal bleeding,
7. Patients with Heavy Menstrual Bleeding taking Hormone Replacement Therapy
8. Conditions where Heavy Menstrual Bleeding is not the main presenting menstrual symptom eg endometriosis
9. Pregnant and lactating females
