Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All consecutive consenting patients aged more than 18 years who will be undergoing pancreatoduodenectomy with or without preoperative endoscopic biliary drainage for operable malignant tumors \[Ampullary, periampullary, pancreatic and distal cholangiocarcinoma] causing distal biliary obstruction in the departments of surgery and surgical gastroenterology
Exclusion Criteria
- •a. Patients who had undergone percutaneous biliary drainage before pancreatoduodenectomy for operable malignant tumors \[Ampullary, periampullary, pancreatic and distal cholangiocarcinoma] causing distal biliary obstruction
- •b. Patients undergoing any additional procedure along with pancreatoduodenectomy,
- •c. Patients who underwent preoperative endoscopic biliary drainage outside JIPMER
