Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Not on regular medications
- •Non\-smoker
- •35 \- 55 yrs old
- •overweight and obese women
- •(body mass index {BMI} \> 25 and \< 35 kg/m2\)
Exclusion Criteria
- •Exclusion criteria included current chronic medical and psychological disease, major systemic illness, renal failure, pregnancy, lactating or planning to become pregnant, smoking, hypothyroidism, diabetes mellitus, pre\-existing heart conditions or gastrointestinal surgery and greater than two hours of moderate intensity physical activity per week.
