Inclusion Criteria
•Age between 18–60 years
•Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
•HbA1c > 8% during screening
•Patients who have their own smartphones and ability to use it
•No chronic complications associated with incapacity
•Willing to use Smartphone app for diabetes
Exclusion Criteria
•Pregnancy
•Type 1 diabetes
•Already using any smartphone app for diabetes management
•Any condition that will impair smartphone use

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Change in the HbA1c levels of the patients from baseline to end of the study is the primary endpoint of this study. Blood samples will be collected from the patients at baseline and at the end of the study to estimate the HbA1c levels.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Secondary endpoints include changes in the fasting blood glucose, lipid profile and body weight from baseline values. Blood samples will be collected from the patients at baseline and at the end of the study to estimate these parameters.
