Inclusion Criteria
a) patients with chronic venous insufficence
b) age betwenn 18 an 85
c) willingness to wear compression stockings
d)existence of a written patient agreement
f) sufficient german speaking skills
Exclusion Criteria
a) age under 18 years
b) edema of the leg that are not caused by a CVI
c) deep vein thrombosis of the leg
d) peripheric arterial occlusion
e) diabetes with neuropathy or a periperial arterial disturbed blood flow
f) immobility
g) ulcus cruris venosum
h) pregnancy
