- •1) Known diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus
- •2) Written informed consent
- •3) Willing to fill out the questionnaires (IPAQ and SF36)
- •4) > 50 years old
- •Cohort 2 (Gesundenuntersuchung)
- •1) > 50 years old
- •2) Written informed consent
- •2) Willing to fill out the questionnaires (IPAQ and SF36)
Exclusion Criteria
- •Cohort 1 (DM2)
- •Any type of diabetes other than type 2 diabetes (e.g. type 1 diabetes, LADA, type 3c diabetes)

- •Known diagnosis of diabetes mellitus (any type)
