Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\)Ischemic stroke ( lesion confirmed by computerized tomography or magnetic resonance imaging)
  • •2\)Sub acute stroke patient with shoulder subluxation \[3rd week to 8 week]
  • •3\)Brunnstrom arm recovery stage 2,3,4
  • •4\)Adequate communication ability and intact cognitive function (Mini\-Mental Status Examination
  • •scores \>\=24 points)

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\)Recurrent stroke
  • •2\)Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
  • •3\)Uncooperative patients.
  • •4\)Any other orthopedic/ neurological and Cardiac impairment of the affected upper limb.
  • •5\)History of surgery in the affected shoulder before the onset of stroke
  • •6\)Skin problems, wounds, or infection on the affected shoulder
  • •7\)Experience of using Kinesio Taping
  • •8\)History of allergy to Kinesio Taping
