Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\)Ischemic stroke ( lesion confirmed by computerized tomography or magnetic resonance imaging)
  • 2\)Sub acute stroke patient with shoulder subluxation \[3rd week to 8 week]
  • 3\)Brunnstrom arm recovery stage 2,3,4
  • 4\)Adequate communication ability and intact cognitive function (Mini\-Mental Status Examination
  • scores \>\=24 points)

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\)Recurrent stroke
  • 2\)Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
  • 3\)Uncooperative patients.
  • 4\)Any other orthopedic/ neurological and Cardiac impairment of the affected upper limb.
  • 5\)History of surgery in the affected shoulder before the onset of stroke
  • 6\)Skin problems, wounds, or infection on the affected shoulder
  • 7\)Experience of using Kinesio Taping
  • 8\)History of allergy to Kinesio Taping
