1)Ischemic stroke ( lesion confirmed by computerized tomography or magnetic resonance imaging)
2)Sub acute stroke patient with shoulder subluxation [3rd week to 8 week]
3)Brunnstrom arm recovery stage 2,3,4
4)Adequate communication ability and intact cognitive function (Mini-Mental Status Examination
scores >=24 points)
1)Recurrent stroke
2)Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
3)Uncooperative patients.
4)Any other orthopedic/ neurological and Cardiac impairment of the affected upper limb.
5)History of surgery in the affected shoulder before the onset of stroke
6)Skin problems, wounds, or infection on the affected shoulder
7)Experience of using Kinesio Taping
8)History of allergy to Kinesio Taping
