Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Subjects presenting with the classical signs and symptoms of sandhigata vata like painful flexion and extension, swelling in the knee joint, crepitus.
  • •2\.Subjects between the age group of 40 years to 70 irrespective of gender.
  • •3\.Subjects who are fit for matra basti.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Subjects below 40 years and above 70 years of age group.
  • •2\.Subjects of janu sandhigata vata presenting with aama.
  • •3\.Presenting with other Systemic disorders like Diabetes mellitus, Hypertension, and Traumatic origin.
  • •4\.Post surgical and prosthetic knee joints.
  • •5\.With history of fracture of knee joints.
  • •6\.Patients with any type of malignancy.
  • •7\.Patients with allergic skin conditions.
  • •8\.Patients with open wounds on the knee.
