Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Stable CKD stage 4 and 5 pre HD patients with iron deficiency anemia as per KDIGO guidelines {iron saturation (serum iron/total iron binding capacity) less than 20% or serum ferritin less than 200ng/
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients with
- •1\.Active / recent infection in the last two weeks
- •2\.Oral or IV iron, blood transfusions received in the last two weeks.
- •3\.Malignancy, liver disease, pregnancy, hypersensitivity to IV iron
