Inclusion Criteria

Patients aged 65 and over who are admitted to intensive care for any reason, RASS
Patients with -3 and speaking Turkish were included in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

1- Patients who stayed in intensive care for less than 24 hours (death or discharge),
2-All conditions with brain damage (such as traumatic brain injury, intracranial hemorrhage, ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, hypoxic brain injury, hepatic encephalopathy, central nervous system infections),
3-Patients with mental disorders,
4-Serious aphasia,
5- Coma state (RASS<-3),
6-Patients diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer's,
7-Patients with hearing loss,
8-Patients with vision loss,
9-Patients who developed delirium within the first 24 hours of their stay in intensive care unit,
10-Patients for whom information regarding frailty and daily physical activities could not be obtained upon admission,
11-Patients using oral antidiabetic or lipid-lowering drugs,
12-Patients diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus or pancreatitis,
13-Patients with pCO2 value>60
14-If the patient or his/her relatives do not accept to participate in the study,
