Inclusion Criteria
50-80 years
either gender
ASA I-III
undergoing unilateral primary TKA
Exclusion Criteria
body mass index (BMI) more than 40
renal or hepatic insufficiency
localized infection at the site of regional anesthetic intervention
allergy to local anesthetic
chronic opioid use
pre-existing lower extremity neurological deficit
patient refusal
