入选标准
- •All cases of inguinal hernia admitted for surgery with a primary, reducible inguinal or inguino-scrotal hernia; unilateral or bilateral.
排除标准
- •Obstructive uropathy or chronic obstructive lung diseases- are contraindicated for elective hernia surgery. They are associated high hernia recurrence rates.
- •Old and debilitated patients of poor general condition will not be able to give an accurate assessment of the key outcomes of the operation.
- •Patients with strangulated inguinal hernias.
- •Recurrent inguinal hernias.
- •On table operative finding of separated, thin and/or weak external oblique aponeurosis.
- •Giant inguinal hernias.
- •Those who refuse to participate in the study.
