Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Anamnestic Freezing of Gait
  • •Diagnosis of idiopathic Parkinson's disease
  • •Hoehn \& Yahr Stadium \<4
  • •Able to walk outside for \> 1 hr
  • •Written informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Parkinsonism of other etiology
  • •Clinically diagnosed dementia
  • •Severe internal disease, eg. cardiac insufficiency
  • •Severe orthopedic disease, eg. implant
  • •Deep brain stimulation

An open, randomized, single-center study assessing the serum time-concentration curves and the effect of prophylactic moxifloxacin (in comparison with cefuroxime) on the early inflammatory response to cardiopulmonary bypass in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting - Moxi and CPBIn this study prophylactic moxifloxacin 400 mg i.v. is compared with the above mentioned standard antibiotic prophylaxis cefuroxime regimen with special consideration to the postoperative inflammatory response. Additionally the serum time-concentration curves are evaluated for pharmacokinetic data and antimicrobial activity.
