- •Elective anterolateral thoracotomy surgery

- •Patientâ??s refusal
- •Obesity (BMI > 30 kg/m2)
- •Spinal deformity
- •Coagulopathy
- •Local site infection
- •Allergy to drugs
- •Psychiatric illness
- •Cardiac disease
- •Hepatic/renal dysfunction
- •Patients requiring post-operative ventilatory support
