简要总结
The study is designed as a quasi-experimental investigation focusing on the dexterity and motor skills of working dentists at the Outpatient Department (OPD) of Dr. DY Patil College of Physiotherapy in Pimpri, Pune. A purposive sampling method will be employed to select a sample of 30 male and female dentists who meet the inclusion criteria of being active practitioners, while excluding individuals with any musculoskeletal, cardio-respiratory, or neurological conditions, as well as those who are pregnant or have malignancies. The primary materials for data collection will include a Finger Dexterity Test board, tweezers, a data collection sheet, and consent forms. Participants will undergo the dexterity assessment after providing informed consent, and the results will be systematically recorded for analysis. Ethical considerations will be strictly adhered to, ensuring participant confidentiality. This research aims to enhance understanding of the impact of ergonomic practices on dental professionals, ultimately contributing to improved health outcomes in this field.
