Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • \-Neck of femur fracture patients who meets the indication for bipolar hemiarthroplasty
  • \-Patients who are able to consent
  • \-Patients who are able to walk with or without gait aid before the injury
  • \-Age \> 60 years
  • \-Literate in Thai

Exclusion Criteria

  • \-Patients who are suspected to have an active infection
  • \-Patients who have a fracture from an infection or a tumor
  • \-Patients who have an abnormal skin lesion at the probable incision site
  • \-Severe associated injury(s)
  • \-Has been diagnosed with any neuropsychiatric disease that may interfere the gait
  • \-Waiting time(time from injury to surgery) more than 7 days
