Inclusion Criteria
Patients aged between 18-70 years of both gender, American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical class II and III undergoing cardiac surgery.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients not willing to participate in the study
Emergency surgery
Cardiac arrhythmias at the time of measurement
Unilateral or bilateral carotid artery stenosis
Contraindication for transesophageal echocardiography
