入选标准
- •All patients aged 18 to 65 years, undergoing open appendectomy for acute appendicitis from July 2022 to June 2024.
排除标准
- •1. Perforated appendix on operation.
- •2. Presence of intra-abdominal abscess.
- •3. Localized or diffuse purulent fluid in the ab-dominal cavity.
- •4. Patients requiring Rutherford-Morrison incision
- •5. Pregnancy
- •6. Patients with chronic renal failure.
- •7. Patients with Diabetes mellitus.
- •8. Patients with known psychiatric or mental disorders.
- •9. Patients denying consent.
