Brief Summary

This is a single arm clinical study in which the medicine "Panchakoladi Churna " will be provided to 45 patients showing sign and symptoms of Peenasa (Rhinitis).

The age group taken for the study trial will be in between 2 years to 12 years.

Panchakoladi Churna with Madhu will be given on 0th day thrice a day for 07 days.

Dose will be calculated by age formula. Follow up will be done on 3rd and 07th day and the total duration of case study will be 07 days.

The final conclusion will be drawn on the basis of statistical methods

Inclusion Criteria
  • The patients having at least 2 – 3 symptoms of Peenasa are as follows- a.NASASTRAVA (Rhinorrhea) b.KSHAVATHU (Sneezing) c.NASAVARODHA (Nasal congestion) d.NASAKANDU (Itching in nose) e.SHIRASHOOLA (Headache) 2.The patients of age from 2 year to 12 years.
  • 3.The patients who’s parents are ready to participate in the clinical trial by giving informed written consent.
Exclusion Criteria
  • Patients and his/her parents/guardian not willing for trial 2.
  • Patients known case of any major chronic illness and any congenital anomalies .
  • Patient who need surgical and other intervention 4.
  • Patients presenting with symptoms ofDushta Peenasa/ Pratishyaya and Raktaga Pratishyaya 5.
  • Patients suffering with other Nasal diseases like Nasal Polyps, Deviated Nasal Septum 6.
  • Patients associated with Nasal Malignancy.
