Age 15 to 50 years
Healthy individuals without systemic disease or allergies
Teeth permanent mandibular posterior teeth
Individuals with pulpitis or trauma or Iatrogenic exposure of pulp during deep caries management
Caries Deep occlusal caries (ICDAS score 5 or 6)
On vertical and horizontal percussion: Negative response
Pulp vitality tests: Vital after Cold test and Electric Pulp Testing
Colour of Haemorrhage while performing pulpotomy Bright red colour
Periapical status on Radiograph No periapical widening ( Score 1 of Orstavik Periapical Index)
Individuals with systemic disease or allergies
Individuals on opioid or steroid therapy or antibiotic medication
Teeth with
Marginal periodontitis or crestal bone loss
Proximal carious lesions
Internal or external resorption
Calcified canals
Mobility
Swelling or Sinus opening
Tenderness to percussion or palpation
Excessive bleeding after access cavity preparation not controlled after several minutes or no bleeding at all
