Inclusion Criteria
- •All consenting singleton pregnancies presenting to antenatal clinic after 12 weeks of gestation.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Pregnancies below 12 weeks
- •Multiple gestation.
- •Pregnancies complicated by haemoglobinopathies,
- •Established iron deficiencies anaemia
- •Chronic maternal illness eg Tuberculosis, malignancies.
- •Maternal smoking.
