Inclusion Criteria

college girls:

studying in the selected nursing colleges based on the geographical proximity

having mild and moderate anaemia

available at the time of data collection and willing to participate in the study.

Subjects willing to give their blood for testing hemoglobin, serum iron and serum ferritin.

Exclusion Criteria

College girls;

having severe anaemia

already on some treatment for anemia

underwent major surgery less than three months before

who had donated blood within the last three months

having history of chronic diseases

Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Screening for Haemoglobin will be done among college girls. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Timepoint: The level of anemia will be obtained within a week of test.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
The students with mild and moderate anemia will be given Iron or Dietary supplements for the period of 3 months and the Hb, Serum Iron and Serum Ferritin level will be measured.Timepoint: The intervention will be administered for three months of time period.
