入选标准
- •1.Be between 30 to 60 years of age
- •2.Fulfill the criteria for Severe Chronic Periodontitis, Moderate Chronic Periodontitis and Mild Chronic Periodontitis as per the 1999 Workshop for Classification of Periodontal Disease
- •3.Sites categorized as Severe Chronic Periodontitis are to have CAL of > 4mm and Probing Pocket Depth of > 6mm, with clinical signs of gingival inflammation
- •4.Sites categorized as Moderate Chronic Periodontitis are to have >2mm and <5mm of Clinical Attachment Loss, with pocket depth of > 4mm
- •5.Sites with Mild Chronic Periodontitis are to have CAL of 1-2mm with Probing Pocket Depth of ï?³3mm, with clinical signs of gingival inflammation
- •6.Healthy Sites are to have no Clinical Attachment Loss and no evident bleeding on probing
排除标准
- •1.Patients with Diabetes Mellitus
- •2.Patients with history of previous periodontal surgery
- •3.History of antibiotic intake in the last six months.
- •4.Pregnancy and Lactation.
- •5.Patients who are smokers and pan- chewers.
