Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\) All patients between 18\-70 years will undergo total hip replacement surgery for Osteonecrosis of femoral head secondary to idiopathic, sickle cell diseases, degenerative arthritis of the hip.
  • 2\) Patient with valid informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\) An inability or unwillingness to comply with the postoperative rehabilitation or follow\-up protocols,
  • 2\) Previous THA, osteomyelitis or a previous intra\-articular infection, severe developmental dysplasia of the hip (such as Crowe type\-III or IV dysplasia),
  • 3\) Acetabular deformity requiring advanced reconstructive techniques,
  • 4\) Patients with Charcot arthropathy, Pagetâ??s disease.
  • 5\) Vascular or neuromuscular disease in the operated leg,
  • 6\) Fracture sequelae,
