Inclusion Criteria
1. age 20 y/0 to 80 y/o
2. at least 6 months after the onset of first stroke
3. ability to walk independently with or without walking aids for at lease 15 m
4. MMSE > 24
5. no previous cardiovascular disease or other neurological disorder
Exclusion Criteria
1. history of regular aquatic therapy
2. history of cardiovascular disease
3. pregnancy
4. incontinence
5. open wounds
6. intubation
7. unwillingness to immerse in water
