Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1.These patients can have either previously diagnosed or undiagnosed compensated chronic liver disease.
- •2.Patients are considered to have chronic liver disease by the presence of any of the following –
- •-Nodular contracted liver on ultrasound
- •-Portal vein diameter13 mm and
- •-Esophageal varices on endoscopy or fibrosis on histology
Exclusion Criteria
- •1.Age less18 years,
- •2.Pregnant women,
- •3.Hepatocellular carcinoma
- •4.Portal vein thrombosis
- •5.Patients with any disseminated malignancy
