Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Sexually active women of age (30-50) years
  • Provide informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1. History of cervical cancer
  • 2. Have had a total hysterectomy
  • 3. Are pregnant or have been pregnant in the last month
  • 4. History of diabetes, innate or acquired immunodeficiency, concomitant neoplastic diseases
  • Chronic inflammatory diseases/infections including aerobic vaginitis and other sexually transmitted diseases,
  • Corticosteroid or immune therapy
  • vagina douching within last 2 days
  • vaginal intercourse within last 3 days
  • systemic application of antifungal agents or antibiotics or pessaries within last 14 days of sampling
