Patients at least 18 years old; of both sexes; who have neuropathic cancer pain assessed by the Questionnaire for the Diagnosis of Neuropathic Pain (DN-4), Nociceptive or Mixed, with pain intensity classified by Scale Visual Numerical greater than or equal to 4; who make chronic use of morphine, characterized as use more than three months ago
Patients who present inability to communicate verbal or cognitive inability to perform Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) and non-tolerance within the time proposed therapy; patients with cardiac conditions such as cardiac pacemakers and cardiac arrhythmias; metallic implants at the site of electrode placement; epilepsy; dermatologic conditions, or skin lesions at the location of the pain that makes it impossible to attach the electrode and history of allergies to conductive gel componentes
