Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •(1\) Large or massive rotator cuff tear requiring rotator cuff repair
  • •(2\) The patients with defect at tendon insertion during arthroscopic rotator cuff repair

Exclusion Criteria

  • •(1\) Previous surgery history at affected shoulder
  • •(2\) Previous fracture history at affected shoulder
  • •(3\) Previous infection history at affected shoulder
  • •(4\) Prmiary or secondary osteoarthritis
  • •(5\) Indication for reverse shoulder arthroplasty because of advanced cuff tear arthropathy of shoulder joint
  • •(6\) Massive rotator cuff tear requiring superior capsule reconstruction
  • •(7\) Patients with neurological symptoms, inability to follow postoperative instructions, or non\-cooperative
  • •(8\) Patients judged to be difficult to participate in the study due to cognitive impairment
