Forty chronic hemiplegic patients (more than 6 months) with myocardial infarction patients, of both gender
The inclusion criteria included independently ambulant patients with mild spasticity (according to Modified Ashwarth scale: appendix I) were selected.
The exclusion criteria included any patient had a contraindication for stress test (acute myocardial infarction, acute myocarditis or pericarditis, sever aortic stenosis, unstable angina, chronic heart failure, or musculoskeletal problems that could prevent the patient during stress test), patients with recurrent stroke, Parkinsonism, severe osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis, and patients with aphasia, blindness, deafness, and patients who did not follow instructions.
