Inclusion Criteria

= 18 years, male or female
- Patients with a confirmed diagnosis of pancreatic cancer (ICD-10, C25)
- Healthy controls: no known malignancy, no permanent medication, normal weight (BMI 18.5 - 24.9).
- Present declaration of consent

Exclusion Criteria

- Non-compliance with inclusion criteria
- other malignancy
- known autoimmune disease
- Indications that the subject is unlikely to comply with the test plan (e.g. lack of willingness to cooperate)

Primary Outcome Measures

Detection of potential biomarker in pancreatic cancer. <br>Blood sampling during routine laboratory checks at the time of diagnosis or before starting therapy (operation vs. chemotherapy), and also every 3 months during staging examinations.
