Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1. American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) PHYSICAL STATUS CLASSS I & II
- •2. Patients undergoing surgery for fractures of Humerus
Exclusion Criteria
- •1.Patient refusal for regional anaesthesia or unwillingness to participate in the study.
- •2.Patients allergic to local anaesthetics.
- •3.Local infection or scarring at the site of needle insertion.
- •4.Those who have coexisting respiratory failure.
- •5.Patients with upper limb deformities (congenital or acquired) and previous upper limb surgery i.e., nerve damage or paraesthesia in the affected limb
- •6.Any history of bleeding disorders.
- •7.Patients with morbid obesity i.e., BMI>=30 Kg/m2.
- •8.Any complication or adverse events during previous surgery under regional anaesthesia.
