Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\)Patients with bilateral intermediate to advanced dry ARMD , geographic atrophy
- •2\)Stable neovascular type ARMD with central macular scar of \> 500 micron to 1 DD
- •3\)Patients having snellens Visual acuity of less than 6/12 to 3/60
- •4\)Patients having significant B/l senile cataract
- •5\)Patients who give voluntary informed written onsent to be a part of the study
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\)Untreated / uncontrolled neovascular ARMD
- •2\)Untreated / uncontrolled diabetic maculopathy
- •3\)Vision better than 6/12
- •4\)Pseudoexfoliation syndrome
- •5\)Fuchs endothelial dystrophy
- •6\)Pregnancy
- •7\)Zonular laxity
- •8\)Prior keratorefractive surgery
- •9\)Prior penetrating keratoplasty
- •10\)Prior retinal detachment surgery
