Inclusion Criteria
- •Premature infants admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit
- •Weight under 1500 grams
- •Age under 31 weeks
Exclusion Criteria
- •Infants with congenital heart defects, congenital major abnormalities or chromosomal abnormalities
- •Infants whose mothers have a history of using nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs during pregnancy
- •Infants with hydrops fetalis
- •Infants with Apgar scores greater than 5 at five minutes after birth
- •Infants with symptomatic PDA require treatment with ibuprofen
- •Infants have vomiting or hematems in the first three days of birth
- •Infants with high levels of liver enzymes
