Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •\-Patients of both sexes, aged between 18\-80 years.
- •\-San Gabriel Clinic or San Pablo\-Surco Clinic, inpatients or outpatients.
- •\-Patients with chronic pulmonary disease (including Bronchiectasis, tuberculosis specific sequel, fibro\-thorax, diffuse interstitial lung disease, COPD).
- •\-Patients who have one or more of the following malnutrition or nutritional risk conditions:
- •oBMI\<21 Kg/m2 or \<23 Kg/m2 in patients ≥65 years old;
- •oInvoluntary weight loss \>10% in past 6 months or \>5% in last month;
- •oFFMI in women \<15 Kg/m2, in men \<16 Kg/m2\.
- •\-Patients who signed informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
- •\-Patients unstable clinically.
- •\-Patients requiring taking other nutritional supplements or parenteral nutrition.
- •\-Patients diagnosed with active pulmonary tuberculosis.
- •\-Patients who suffer acute respiratory failure.
- •\-Patients with immuno\-depression (including HIV, diabetes or Neoplasms).
