Inclusion Criteria

  • •American Society of Anaesthesiologists grade I to III patients undergoing elective thoracic surgery requiring at least one hour of one lung ventilation

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Cardiac dysfunction
  • •Hepatic dysfunction
  • •Renal dysfunction
  • •Bilateral pulmonary disease
  • •Airway anatomy preventing use of Double Lumen Endotracheal Tube
  • •Morbid obesity
  • •Patient refusal
