- •Consenting adults aged 18 to 59 years, undergoing elective surgeries with endotracheal intubation lasting for 1 to 6hours duration.
- •2. Adults belonging to either sex with ASA PS Grade 1 or 2
排除标准
- •1.Patient with nasogastric tube in situ.
- •2.Patients requiring throat pack intraoperatively.
- •3.Anticipated difficult airway.
- •4.Patients with a history of preoperative sore throat.
- •5.Upper respiratory tract illness.
- •6.Immune deficiencies.
- •7.Chronic smoker.
- •8.Taking tetracyclines or quinolones antibiotics or with allergic reactions to zinc.
- •9.Patient undergoing head and neck surgery.
- •10.Pregnant patients
