Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •120 patients,
- •their ages ranged between 18 and 60 years, ASA physical status class I and II
- •underwent elective cataract surgery.
Exclusion Criteria
- •known hypersensitivity to magnesium sulphate or succinylcholine
- •hypocalcaemia
- •any degree of heart block
- •hypertensive
- •obese (BMI \>30\)
- •any cardiovascular, renal, hepatic or muscular disease
- •patients with raised IOP
- •previous eye surgery
- •patients receiving any drug known to alter IOP
