Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To study the efficacy of ultrasound guided fascia iliaca compartment block and femoral nerve block for pain relief in patients with proximal femur fractures before positioning for Subarachnoid Block <br/ ><br>A VAS score for pain is recorded immediately after the block for a period of 20 minutes.Timepoint: A 10 cm VAS score is recorded immediately after the block at 0,1,3,5,10,15 and 20 minutes.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To study the duration of postoperative analgesia and total consumption of analgesics.Timepoint: VAS score will be assessed postoperatively every 2 hours for 24 hours.
