•1) Presence of Cardinal sign and symptoms of sandhigata Vata and vistabdhajirna along with samanya ajirna lakshana.
•2) Digital x-ray depicting the features of osteoarthritis.
•3) Patients willing to incorporate themselves in the study.
•4)Bone mineral density bmd with T score of -1 or below.
•5) Patients who are not receiving any other therapies except the research medicine exclusively for Sandhigata Vata (OA).

•1) Severe cases of osteoarthritis as leading to stiffness and immobility.
•2) Patients of sandhigata Vata without symptoms of vistabdhajirna or without giving the history of vistabdhajirna.
•3) Any other conditions of the joints and bones like Rheumatoid arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis, Tubercular arthritis or infective Arthritis will be excluded.
•4) Any malignant condition of the body.
•5) Systemic diseases like Diabetes mellitus, Hypothyroidism, Chronic Renal Failure etc.
