Inclusion Criteria

Patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke Patients diagnosed with acute CVA with persistent neurological deficits Patients who are comprehending.

Exclusion Criteria

•A resolved transient ischemic attack (brief neurological symptoms that are judged to have completely resolved upon presentation ) •A definite clinical contraindication or indication for either the sitting up or lying flat head position .
